This is the first of a planned series of annual conferences organized by the Center of International Higher Education Studies (CIHES), Corvinus University of Budapest and Central European University (CEU) in collaboration with partners from the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia, as part of the Central European Higher Education Cooperation (CEHEC) initiative.
The CEHEC conference brings together researchers, policy makers, university leaders and other higher education experts to stimulate academic discussion about key trends and issues in higher education in the CEE region (and neighboring regions) as well as about potential solutions and new initiatives. The conference is also envisaged as a means to enhance academic collaboration and practice & experience sharing in higher education policy and science and research policy, and to help build a professional network of higher education experts.
